Description of apartment building in Katoļu Street 19
About the building
Katoļu street 19 Design of the Katoļu iela 19 building is elaborated by the architects’ company „Kubs” (www.kubs.lv), having designed such an objects like “Tomsona Terases”, trade center in Tērbatas street, Chrysler car center in Krasta street, etc.. The building is built on 639 m2 large ground plot, located just opposite the city park - Klusais Dārzs.
In the 1st floor of the building there are commercial premises. From the 2nd up to 6th floor there are 17 apartments with areas 44 - 125 m2. In each floor there are 3-4 apartments. Nearly all apartments have large terraces or balconies. The building has its own underground car parking place.
Entrance into the underground parking place as well as entrance into the building, commercial premises and the yard is from Katoļu street. The yard will be planted with greenery and well improved. Nearly all apartments have wide show-case windows with a view to the park Klusais Dārzs. For apartments of upper floors there are places for buildup of fireplaces. For the building’s external wall from the side of Katoļu street there will be a glass façade system and suspended stone or ceramic tiles. In the yard façade there will be a painted decorative plaster. The onlay of the internal common use premises will be granite combined with a wooden finish.
A constructive solution:
reinforced concrete column carcass with in-situ reinforced concrete slabs. Light-concrete walls will be filled in with rock wool heat insulation from the outside.
Heating:
the central heating will be connected with A/S “Rīgas siltums” heat supply system.
A ventilation solution:
forced-type suction in the kitchen and in toilet facilities, air inflow natural.
Extent of finish:
- all apartments have their own internal planning and installed wall structures. No additional processing is envisaged;
- heating system with heating radiators;
- wooden entrance door with fittings;
- water supply and sanitary engineering attachment up to the apartment;
- electricity inlet into the apartment, establishing of electric installation is not envisaged;
- internal finish works will be performed by new owners of the apartments.
